Living Room

Our living room has lots of windows and is bright and cheery. It has a smart TV with local channels available OTA or through the Tablo app. It has one of the two available dedicated work spaces in the house and a long couch to nap on. There is a free library of novels and a central Bluetooth sound system for streaming music. We also have a chess board, backgammon, and playing cards and puzzles.

Dining Room

Our dining room is centrally located in the house. There is a high dining room table with 4 tall chairs. A separate sit down table can be used as a dedicated work space.

Country Kitchen

We have a fully stocked country kitchen. We have a gas stove, gas oven, refrigerator, freezer, dishwasher, microwave, toaster oven, toaster, personal blender, a coffee bar with a Keurig coffee maker and hot water dispenser, drip coffee maker, and a milk frother. Kitchen is stocked with plates, bowls, silverware, glasses, and children's dinnerware. There are also baking dishes, pans, kettle, and a griddle.

Main Bedroom

The main bedroom is a loft bedroom with a queen bed and a sitting room open to the floor below. The double closet has hangers and extra pillows and blankets. There is a window air conditioner, baseboard hot water heat and a smart TV.

Second Bedroom

The second bedroom has a queen size extra thick futon with a high quality mattress topper. The room is the most private in the house and the darkest with optional black out curtains. A window air conditioner keeps the room cool and baseboard heating keeps it toasty warm.

Full Bathroom

There is a bathtub with a shower. We provide body soap, shampoo, conditioner and makeup remover. The toilet is chair height with an elongated seat.

Laundry and Half Bathroom

The laundry and half bathroom is off the kitchen by the mudroom. We provide detergent and fabric softener and stain remover. A steam iron and ironing board are in the kitchen broom closet.

Exterior

The house is located on a neighborhood street that is pretty quiet considering how close it is to downtown. There is a lot of pedestrian traffic. We are kitty-corner from a city park. The front porch, although small, has a table and chairs that is a lovely place to have morning coffee or an afternoon beverage. There is a Webber Travel Grill in the corner outside the kitchen window if you want to grill a burger or steak.

Mudroom

The house has a separate private back entryway hidden from the street that opens into a mud room and laundry room / bathroom. It's a great place to stash bicycles, skis, and outdoor equipment.

Stairway

It is hard to get excited about a stairway but ours is lined with several maps of the region with a magnifying glass so you can see up close.
